I’m Debora S. Jason, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist who offers DBT-informed therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a skills-based, evidence-informed approach that helps you build practical tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness so you can feel more steady, in control, and supported in daily life. I bring over 10 years of clinical experience and a structured, straightforward, DBT-centered approach that balances compassion and validation. In our work together, you can expect a safe, authentic relationship, a highly individualized plan built around your strengths, and practical skills you can use between sessions—especially when emotions feel intense. DBT sessions with me are paced and collaborative. We start by identifying what matters most to you and building a clear plan, then practice tools to help you reduce emotional overwhelm, manage high-stress moments without spiraling, stay grounded in the present, and communicate with clearer boundaries and more confidence. My goal is for you to leave with progress you can feel—more calm, more clarity, and more control.
